My family and I visited Park Chapel for the first time this weekend, looking for a new church in the area (recently moved from Terre Haute, where we still go to Maryland Community Church). We attended the 11:15 service in the gym. It was a great service. The sermon was very well done, and I thought the band was wonderful! I have a couple of questions I'll save for a later time, as we'll probably be back again soon. I have a comment and a question for you. First, I thought you did a great job on the new song that you asked for feedback about. Second, in addition to a Christian looking for a new local church home, I'm also a music podcaster featuring independent musicians on two weekly podcasts. One of those shows highlights independent Christian music. I'd love to feature some of your original music in the show, if you're interested. You can check out my show at http://www.averagejoeamerican.us, where you'll find a link to contact me if you're interested in joining the playlist. I make no income from the show and use it only to increase the awareness of accomplished indie Christian musicians. My shows have several thousand listeners and hundreds of musicians in the lineup. God Bless You for using your talent for the Kingdom, and keep in touch! Jeff Cole (aka Average Joe American)
Shucks, I'm blushing! I had lots of fun Sunday, and I love Lift High. I'm ready for "Beautiful the Blood"... Steve Fee is mi favorito. I dig that song. So, this friend of mine was scoping us out on Sunday. She gave the service a thumbs up. She really liked the worship set. So, keep doin' what you're doin' amigo. Good stuff. Congrats on la guitarra nueva. Sounds fancy. If you have a second, let me know what we're singing Sunday night at the baptism service.
Average Joe. Nice. Hey I went to Maryland and struck up a friendship with Scott Longyear. He's quite a cool dude. You might say I'm a fan of what he's doing. Great Church.
I'd love to chat and I hope Park Chapel feels like the kind of plays were you can grow & celebrate your travels along the Way of Jesus.
I do have some originals that we can chat about. Dean
My wife found the Lord under Scot's teaching, and that makes it especially hard for us right now to find a church home here in Indy. She's especially fond of Scot.
We enjoyed the service and the music at Park Chapel last week and will probably be back soon.
When you have a chance to talk about your music, you can email me at joe AT averagejoeamerican DOT us, if I don't see you at The Crossing first.

Good singing this week, Dean. That Becki girl sure can sing, eh? It's awesome to hear 3 part harmonies every now and then.
Oh yeah she rocks.
